Great Ocean Road 2-Day Self Drive

A 2-Day trip to Great Ocean road, with attractions well distributed on the way forth and back

The suggested time is my personal experience and it’s just for your reference.

Day 1
Departing from Melbourne CBD at 8am

1hr30min -> Torquay (1hr)
Another beautiful town for relax and snack before heading to Great Ocean Road.

1hr -> Teddy’s Lookout, Lorne (30min)
A 15-minute short walk from parking will lead you to an iconic Great Ocean Road photography spot.

1hr -> Mait’s Rest Rainforest Walk (30min)
An easy wooden track for your relax, with the wonderful rain forest.

All these neighboring viewing spots offer different views and experience to one of the most popular attraction in the world. Don’t miss the magic moment for a beautiful sunset.

A quite and peaceful small town to stay. Better reserve the accommodation and prepare everything you need in advance.

While the lighthouse may not be too attractive to you, koala bears on the way must be surprising
